Volunteers

Several tiers of volunteers are needed:

 

1)  Game Table Hosts:  Volunteers who can bring card games, board games, or who can lead other fun group activity games (ie, group charades, improve circle, kid's corner arts & crafts table, etc) and help run a games table after dinner in the main ballroom (ie, teach others how to play the game and generally help facilitate the table).  Games should be able to involve 7-10 people or more and be appropriate for all ages.  We would like one or two tables dedicated to a "kids corner"

 COMPENSATION:  Immense satisfaction, & reduced general ticket price of $20

To apply for a "Game Table Host" position, please drop an email to Ari  at arilevitt@rolluptherug.com with "Mu Shu Game Host" in the title and let him know the following:

  • Your name and contact information (email, phone number):
  • The name of the game (or games) which you would like to bring and teach to others:
  • The number of people who can play the game together, and the age range it would appropriate for:
  • Your preferred shift for hosting the game:
      • Round #1 from 7:30 - 9:00pm (10 positions)
      • Round #2 from 9:00 - 10:30pm (6 positions)
      • Both Rounds

 

 

2)  Logistics Staff:  People to help with downstairs lounge room transition/dance set up (8:30-9pm) and approximately 1.5 hrs of a door shift.  Must be 18 or older.

Available Door Shifts (in bold):

Upstairs Ballroom:

  • 6:00 - 7:30pm  [TAKEN]
  • 7:30 - 9:00pm ________
  • 9:00 - 10:30pm _______

 Downstairs Lounge:

  • 6:30 - 8:30pm  _______
  • 8:30 - 10:00pm  [TAKEN]
  • 10:00 - 11:30pm  [TAKEN]

 COMPENSATION: Reduced general ticket price of $20 ($15 savings!)

    • Your name and contact information (email, phone number):
    • Your preferred shift and location (upstairs or downstairs)

 

 

3)  Social Hosts:  People to help greet, mingle, schmooze, circulate, introduce others, and generally make sure that everyone is having a wonderful time.  This will take place mainly in the upstairs ballroom during dinner, group activities, and gaming.
